Since completing a maths degree at Manchester University and securing two diplomas in financial planning including the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, Alex has enjoyed supporting a range of clients to achieve their goals.
She advises on most aspects of financial advice including pensions, investments and protection and is particularly passionate about being able to look at the entire market place, so that clients truly receive advice relevant to their personal circumstances.
Alex also has an interest in ethical investments and how they will shape our world in the future.
“After seeing my parents struggling to understand their pension options, I decided I wanted a career in financial advice to help people breakdown the jargon and achieve their retirement goals.”
When she’s not helping clients, Alex enjoys the great outdoors including walking on the moors with her husband and 2 year old dog Otto, (a mad but handsome Wirehaired Vizsla), as well as swimming in the sea. She also likes taking part in various sports including hockey, water polo and swimming or watching rugby and cricket.
I believe it’s important to look holistically at a client’s circumstances so that I can provide the right advice for them and their individual needs and goals, which are different for all clients.
The three small things that make my day better are:
Sunshine. A good radio playlist. A sweet treat.
The three things I love most about my job are:
Meeting new people. Every day is different. Able to help people achieve their goals.
Three things on my bucket list are:
Glastonbury Festival. Boxing Day Ashes Test at the MCG. Climb each Tor on Dartmoor.
When the dessert menu arrives I’m looking for:
Chocolate fudge cake
