Good advice without the sales spin
Prior to joining Davidsons in January 2011, Richard was a broker consultant for Clerical Medical and Scottish Widows, providing support to financial advisers. These roles gave Richard great experience on ‘the other side’ of financial advice.
It also led to a desire to deal directly with clients, as an independent adviser, giving them the opportunity to benefit from products from the whole of the market as well as receive sound advice without a sales spin.
“I meet a variety of clients with different needs and it is rewarding when what is, sometimes, considered a small pot, can be turned into something much more valuable. I am also enjoying building the Davidsons brand across the South West.”
In Richard’s spare time you will find him on the beach, in the sea or coaching the local U13’s football team. He likes to keep fit by running, going to the gym, walking his two dogs or trying to keep up with his three children!
As I’m totally inept when it comes to finance, it was vital for me to find a company to suit all my needs.
